Lisa first stepped onto a yoga mat 20 years ago. Since then, she has been compelled to share her passion for yoga and all of its benefits with students around the world. She has studied and taught yoga in various Middle Eastern and European countries, as well as right here, in her hometown of Kansas City. Her teaching approach is lighthearted, playful and free-flowing, yet balanced, meditative and focused on alignment. In class, Lisa aims to transcend the physical benefits of yoga and offer students a learning experience that they can apply to their daily lives.
Lisa is a Yoga Alliance registered teacher and has completed teacher-training courses with Max Strom and the Australian-based Yoga Arts Organization. She also studies Acro Yoga and Thai Massage. A foodie, organic gardener and blogger, when not practicing, Lisa can be found digging in the dirt or in her kitchen, filming her online cooking show, Veg with Lisa.
