Angie genuinely loves to help people feel their best. She believes massage and soft tissue therapies to be an essential component of stress management, musculoskeletal health, and healing/prevention of injuries. Her distinctive style blends techniques from various traditions, incorporating a firm musculoskeletal approach with more subtle techniques, depending on clients needs. She received her initial massage training from Wellspring School of Allied Health in 2012 and has built on her foundation with additional trainings in Yoga (RYT200), Oncology Massage, Visceral Manipulation and Pediatric Massage. Angie also received training for an Ayurvedic bodywork treatment called Garshana/Abhyanga at Kripalu in Massachusetts. In addition to working at Sage, she has worked in the Pain Management Department at Children’s Mercy Hospital since 2013 to provide comfort care and ease the side effects of chronic illness and pain.
