Amanda is first and foremost a student of yoga. The Sage kula is her downtown family, and this healing sanctuary her second home (sometimes even feels like a first home!). Amanda has become fervent about self-care as a result of learning about yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, chiropractic, and more from the Sage team. Amanda's yoga practice started when she popped into Sage at the recommendation of a mentor, and she never looked back. Now, after completing the Colorado School of Yoga 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training with Sarah Kucera and Sharon Prothe in 2016, she has come full circle to teach yoga at her favorite place on Earth! As a lesson from this devoted journey, Amanda is a firm believer that life always takes us exactly where we are supposed to be.

Amanda is a self-proclaimed feminist and loves the power that yoga gives not only to women, but what yoga can do for people of every gender, shape, size, ethnicity, sexuality, spiritual tradition, socioeconomic status, or state of health. Amanda's yoga mission is to empower humans to know and love themselves first, in order to be capable of fully expressing love for others.  When Amanda is not practicing yoga, she's either exploring the urban core of KC, or looking for the next great book (but she's always secretly eyeing her Harry Potter series for a fourth go!).
